New Delhi, September 8 : Rhea Chakraborty has been called in for questioning today (September 8) again by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). This is the third time Rhea was summoned.
Despite reports that Rhea could be arrested on Day 2 (September 7), NCB has, in fact, called her in for questioning again. Rhea will be reaching the NCB office at 10 am this morning. The interrogation and further investigation have brought several new names to the surface.
Currently, all drug peddlers arrested by Mumbai and Pune Police in the last 2 years will be on NCB’s radar. They will also scrutinise friends of Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty and Showik. In addition, all of their call record data will be looked into.
Meanwhile, Rhea filed a complaint against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka, Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others for wrongly administering drugs to the late actor. A case was registered at the Bandra Police Station yesterday.
NCB to arrest Rhea Chakraborty at 5 pm today, to be taken for medical tests
The NCB has started the process of Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest. Rhea will be arrested at 5 pm today after Day 3 of NCB’s interrogation ends. Two aspects that worked against Rhea and led to her arrest are harbouring narcotics and procuring narcotics.
Once arrested, Rhea will be taken for medical tests and will be produced before the court along with the three other arrested accused – Rhea’s brother Showik, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda and his staffer Dipesh Sawant. The four will be presented before the court via video conferencing.
NCB summons Sushant Singh Rajput’s staffers Neeraj and Keshav
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned two of Sushant Singh Rajput’s staff members – Neeraj Singh and Keshav. Both Neeraj and Keshav were earlier questioned by the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI). The CBI is considering Neeraj and Keshav, along with Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani and another one of his staff members, Dipesh Sawant, eyewitnesses as they were the closest to the actor right before his death on the morning of June 14.
SSR’s father KK Singh files complaint before Medical Council against Dr Susan Walker
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh today filed a complaint against the actor’s psychiatrist, Susan Walker, for disclosing details about a patient that she was under oath not to disclose. The complaint was filed under Regulation 8.2 of the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002 for professional misconduct committed by Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) namely, Ms Susan Walker under Regulation 7. I4 of the 2002 Regulations.
A part of the complaint read: “The complainant herein is the father of the deceased Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his apartment in Mumbai…the complainant is bringing this complaint against the above-mentioned medical practitioner as the legal heir and representative if Sushant Singh Rajput…without going into the alleged medical condition of Sushant Singh Rajput, it is clear that any consultation between Sushant and the above-mentioned practitioner was strictly confidential and disclosure of the same would be misconduct.” (Source : Indiatoday.in)
