Kathmandu : The Unified Government Employees’ Organization, Nepal has formed a 139-central working committee under the chair of Gagan Singh Bista. Prakash Rai is the general secretary of the newly-formed committee. Organizing a news conference to share the decisions of the national convention, Rai said that the organization has asked the government to duly address the issues of government officials as they have suffered hugely after the civil servants’ adjustment in the three layers of government. Likewise, the organization has asked the government to make the report submitted by the Leelamani Paudyal-led High-Level Salary and Facilities Commission public. Similarly, decision has been made to suggest the government after carrying out a research from a team of former administrators and experts comprising team to make the transfer system more scientific. The organization has stated its firm commitment to the concept of compensation-based public service delivery.
