Kathmandu, Jan 16 : A meeting of the ruling coalition partners has begun at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar a while ago.
The meeting took place to forge a consensus on the issue of cabinet expansion Prime Minister and Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of Rastriya Swatantra Party and Deputy Prime Minister Rabi Lamichhane, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chair Rajendra Lingden, and Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party Upendra Yadav are attending the meeting.
Earlier today, a meeting was held between Prime Minister Dahal and UML Chair Oli regarding the cabinet expansion.
After a long discussion held at Oli’s residence, Prime Minister Dahal said that a consensus would be reached regarding cabinet expansion today itself.
