Kathmandu, Dec 19 : The Natikaji Memorial Society has announced the recipients of Natikaji National Honour and Award-2078 BS under various categories.
The award and honour instituted in the name of late musician Natikaji Shrestha will be given to those artistes making significant contributions to the field of the music sector.
The meeting of the Society convened under the chairmanship of Society’s Chairperson Sambhujit Banskota here today decided on the recipients. Towards this, lyricist Min Bahadur Mukhiya, recordist Deep Tuladhar, singers Pradeep Raj Pandey, Kanhaiya Singh Pariyar and BK Rana, music arranger Phadindra Rai, singer BK Rana, lyricists Subha Mukarung and Amar Bantu would be awarded with Natikaji National Special Music Award-2078 BS.
Similarly, Yek Narayan Bhandari, Kali Prasad Banskota, Raj Sigdel, Mandavi Tripathi would be feted with Natikaji National Music-2078 BS. Likewise, Deben Giri, Deepak Sharma, Krishna Kafle, Asmita Adhikari will be awarded Natikaji National Talent Award-2078 BS.
Chandan Kumar Shrestha will receive ‘Natikaji National Classical Music Award-2078 BS’, the Society said. Rabin Karki Dhali will be given Natikaji National Music Arranger-2078 BS while Devi Gharti will get Natikaji National Folk Music Award-2078 BS. Dabbu Kshettri and Kuber Raj Giri would be awarded with Natikaji National Art Journalism Award-2078 BS.
Ashish Sachin Gautam will be awarded with Natikaji National New Talent Award-2078 BS. Each prize recipient will receive Rs 11,111, according to the Society.
