Kathmandu, Dec 12 : The Daibagyaraj Neupane Memorial Foundation is going to award four litterateurs. Senior litterateur Prof Dr Basudev Tripathi will be awarded with the Daibagya Bisista Shrastha Samman carrying a purse of Rs 55,555.
Similarly, poet Jasraj Kiranti will be awarded with the Daibagya Sahityik Puraskar carrying a purse of Rs 33,333. Gopal Parajuli will get Daibagya Bal Sahitya Puraskar in recognition of his contribution to children literature while social worker Sita Pokharel will be awarded with Daibagya Samajsewa Puraskar, the Foundation said. Both the awards carry a purse of Rs 33,333 each.
The awards will be handed over to the selected litterateurs on January 7 next year marking the memorial day of late poet Daibagyaraj Neupane, according to the Foundation.
