Kathmandu, November 3 : AWS Student Builder Group at Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) is set to organise AWS Student Community Day Kathmandu 2026 on November 28 at LBEF College, Maitidevi, Kathmandu. The one day event will bring together students, technology enthusiasts, industry professionals and community leaders to share knowledge, explore emerging technologies and connect with people working in the technology sector.
Student Community Day (SCD) is a student-led initiative that brings students and technology professionals together on a common platform to learn, exchange ideas and build connections. Beyond technical discussions, the event encourages students to explore new areas of technology, learn from industry experience and discover opportunities for their academic and professional growth. It also provides a space for students to connect with like-minded individuals and become part of a wider technology community.
Continuing the initiative in Nepal, this year’s Kathmandu edition follows two years of AWS Student Community Day activities that have connected students and technology professionals through cloud computing, innovation and collaboration. Organised by the AWS Student Builder Group at LBEF, the 2026 edition aims to further strengthen this community by encouraging greater interaction between students and industry professionals and promoting interest in emerging technologies.
The event will feature discussions and sessions covering a range of technology-related fields, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), cloud security, DevOps, networking, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), and robotics. Cloud computing, which allows users to access computing resources such as servers, storage and databases over the internet, has become an important part of today’s digital landscape. The event will introduce participants to different aspects of these technologies while offering insights into their applications, industry developments and potential career opportunities.
Participation in AWS Student Community Day Kathmandu 2026 will be free, although the number of seats is limited. Interested participants must first complete the RSVP process. Following the RSVP, they will receive a confirmation email along with a registration form. Participants who complete the form will receive their event tickets by email before the event day. Further announcements regarding speakers, sessions and other event highlights are expected in the coming days.
The event will be held at Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) College, Maitidevi, Kathmandu, opposite Maitidevi Temple. Interested participants can visit https://awslbef.com/ for further information and registration.
