Kathmandu, Feb 19 : The 62nd anniversary of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) concluded today. A formal programme was held at the RSS Central Office in Kathmandu at the presence of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
Likewise, separate events were organized in all seven provincial offices of the RSS on this occasion. In Kathmandu, the best RSS news subscribers were honoured.
Prime Minister Prachanda honoured Executive Chairman of Gorkhapatra Corporation Bishnu Subedi, representative of The Himalayan Times Daily Ram Kumar Kamat and Editor-in-Chief of lokantar.com Bimal Gautam as the best RSS news subscribers. The three news organizations were honoured for abiding by the journalism ethics in the use of RSS news contents.
Likewise, PM Prachanda and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma jointly released two RSS publications including the RSS News Stylebook and RSS: Past and Present.
