Kathmandu, Nov 21 : Vote counting under the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly has begun in Jumla-2 and Achham districts.
According to the Chief Returning Officer of Jumla, Bishnu Prasad Gautam, the counting started from this afternoon after an all-party meeting adding that the counting was initiated from five polling centres of Kanaka Sundari Rural Municipality.
The counting site is covered with fence to ensure safety of the counting, he said. Likewise, the counting was started from Chaurpati Rural Municipality and Rama Roshan Rural Municipality in Achham district in Achham-1. Of the total 79,036 voters in Achham-1, 41,643 votes were cast.
