‘Kode Muruga’, a laugh riot, to be out on April 9

New Delhi, March 24 : Among the many experimental films that are being made in Gandhinagar, one that stands out is ‘Kode Muruga’.

The film, with its unique title, poster and songs, has many highlights to its credit. While making movies with stars is a norm in the industry, ‘Kode Muruga features a hero who beats conventional ideas: he is bald, has dark complexion and a long moustache.

This unique concept has been put on the big screen by debutant director Subramanya Prasad, who has to his credit many hit serials like ‘Radhakallyana’, ‘Gaalipata’ and others.

The movie stars ‘Agnisakshi’ villain Muruga aka Munikrishna as the leading man while Pallavi Gowda plays the leading lady. Kuri Pratap, Swathi, Gurudutt and Tumkur Mohan will also be seen in leading roles. ‘Kode Muruga’ is the story of a man who faces much humiliation, but despite all that, he manages to win and stand tall in society.

Trailer will be out on March 25 and the film which will hit screens on April 9. ‘Kode Muruga’ has been produced by K Ravikumar and Ashok Shirali under KRK banner. (India Today)
